Fuel issues with AP engineering Apex'i.

Hey people,

I was hoping if anyone could shed some light on a fueking issue i have. I have a A'pexi PFC from AP Engineeing on S5 FC3S. All is fine aside from the fuel pump. I have no signal going to it = 0 fuel pressure.

Running walbro pump which works on the bench out of the car
Aftermarket fuel pressure regulator
1680 bosch injecotrs

No i should point out that even with the stock ECU the pump isn't firing correctly although its making noise. readings of around 5v but no

Can you bypass the fuel resister relay simply using a 4 pin relay like you do with a mircotech unit?

Anyideas would be great

Is the circuit opening relay under the dash getting triggered properly?

Also, this is a series 5 JDM car I'm guessing since you are in the UK?

Yes its JDM car.

What i was hoping to do is eliminate the stock relays from the equastion. I usually run the mircotech set up where by the pump(s) are run off a seperate 4 pin relay using a mircotech specific loom.

I was wondering if anyone has needed tp do this on the Apex'i when using on the FC3 or id any problems have been experienced when using the AP Engineeing version.

FD/Power FC pin 1T is the fuel pump relay trigger. You can use that to trigger your own fuel pump relay, bypassing all the factory stuff completely.
