ok, this is really confusing the hell out of me. to try to eliminate as many questions as possible, heres what happened to get where i am.

ran the car at TWS. busted my trans mount and drove it straight home on "E". i didnt want to stop cause every time i stopped or started, the trans jumped like crazy from the mount being gone.

i let it sit for about a week and a half waiting for the new cross member to come from mazda. after i get it all back together, it wont crank. i thought i was just out of gas. i went and got some gas and brought it back. put about an 1/8th of a tank. so i KNOW it has gas in it. STILL wont crank. i tested for spark, getting plenty of it in the right places.

this is where im stuck. i disconnected the hose between the fuel filter and the fuel rail. it cranked RIGHT up. i reconnected that line and nothing again. if im right, thats a feed line. why would it start w/o out it, but not with it??? i know the fuel filter is clean, i just replaced it before i went to the track.


CLIFF NOTES: car wont start due to fuel issue. disconnected the line between the filter and rail and starts like a champ. put the line back on and it wont start again.
