Fuel Injector plugs dont clip...

the wiring plugs on my 2 secondary injectors are missing the clips to make the wiring stay on the injectors. Is there any way to keep them on? They fit really loose and I want to make sure they are making a good connection. Any ideas?

Go to a junk yard and find new clips.

Yeah I need all new 4. I popped my first motor because the previous owner didn't put on a clip to the Primary rear rotor.

You could use some RTV ***TEMPORARIALY*** until you get some clips.

NNNOOOOOOOO....unless you really have to drive the car. any bumps and the clip could come off. YOU CAN BLOW YOUR MOTOR THIS WAY. $5K for a new motor....because you skipped out on a .10 cent piece.

I just discovered that the part of the connector that the clip attatches to is snapped off. Is there any way to replace that without redoing the whole damn wire?

It's really not that hard to wire in a new connector.

Can you replace the wire, or do you have to splice them?

Each wire has a pin attached to it and each of these pins has a barb on it that holds it in the plastic connector. Use a tiny screwdriver or something (there's actually a proper tool for this, but a screwdriver works for me) to compress the barb and pull the pin from the connector. Then just slide the pin into the correct 'slot' of the replacement connector. Just make sure you get the wiring order correct and you are good to go.

autozone stocks the injector clips... 3.99 each. its a pig tail so all you need is 4 but connectors and a pair of crimpers.
