Fuel Injector Plugs
Fuel Injector Plugs
I noticed on my secondary injectors that the electrical plug that fits on top has a small metal clip that holds it on. Well one of mine is missing and I think this is causing my 3800 stumble. The plug comes off very easy and sits loosely on there. Does anybody know where I could get this little clip?
Another thing I noticed is I can spin my injectors. Are they supposed to be this easy to turn?

try a junk yard for the clip you could propably walk out with out paying for it(kno what i mean) and yes the injectors should spin easy the only thing that really holds them in is the back pressure and the fuel rail.
I doubt that the stumble you feel at 3800rpms is from the fuel injectors. There were many known causes for that same prolbem. If it was from the fuel injector being loose the stumble could be felt almost anywhere in the rpm band.
My stubmle is not consistent. Sometimes it is very bad sometimes I don't even feel it. Recently is was getting pretty bad, then I noticed the plug was loose and the missing clip. I took the plug off and closed the metal prongs inside so it would hold tighter and the stumble went a way pretty much.
