Send them to RC engineering, check their webpage. (not sure what it is, so I'm not gonna post, just search on google.com for it)

They ULTRASONICly clean your injector... they put some dark green fluid and operate the injectors and send sharp sounds for the next how many minutes.... then they do test to balance the flow.... let say your injector is a 460cc.... but its just an estimate flow.... It might flow 461cc... so they try to make each injectors flow the same rate or 1% off of each other.... they're not bad at all...

You don't necessarily need to send your injectors halfway across the country if someone in your city can do the same thing. Look in the yellow pages for EFI servicing, and ring around.
Also check out diesel specialists. They use the same gear for injector cleaning as the petrol guys. Not all of them will do petrol injectors, but some will, and they tend to be cheaper. Most EFI specialist quoted me ~NZ$50 (~US$25) per injector, but the diesel service company I went to changed me only NZ$20 (~US10) each. That was for ultrasonic cleaning and backflushing, plus a full written report.

i'd definitely take the time out to send it to RC, they are VERY well known for their services... had mine cleaned by them and it made a big difference.

I am taking mine out now and sending them to RC also....I emailed them and the guy got back to me. They are well known with our injectors. It will cost me $24 per injector, and for that they fully clean and balance them, and provide a written report on the job. They will also let you know ahead of time if one of your injectors needs to be replaced. Look them up on Google.com....search for RC engineering
When you send out the injectors, you send them a prepaid shipping envelope to ship them back to you. If you use next-day air, you can expect to have them back in 2-3 days.

I think I will go with r/c, since all of you send your injectors there they must have a decent amount of knowledge with what injectors they are dealing with.

I am only having this done because the injectors leak fuel really bad all over the ground, so I figure if I'm gonna replace the o-rings then I might as well get hem cleaned also.

plus a tech that looked at my car said one injector was not pulsating correctly

I have a few more q's

will rc engineering replace the o-rings on the injectors while their in service?

if they do are they up to mazda oe specs?

do they replace the air bleeds when their in service?

if not should I when I get them back?

mazdatrix says they almost always break when you take out the injectors

thanks

Its to my understanding that they do replace all o-rings when they recieve them.

As for the air bleeds, are you referring to the pintle caps?

RC will replace the o-rings but not the airbleeds. Just take them out very carefully with a scribe. I didn't break mine despite mazdatrix's warning. If you want to be extra safe, order some new ones from mazdatrix. Make sure that you don't lose the spacer for the secondaries!

Dave,
There is a local place that does injector cleaning and balancing, the name of the place has left my mind at the moment. I'll get back to you on that.

BTW, Marren Motor Sports(www.injector.com) did my 680's last summer. A report was given stating how the injectors were shooting before and after. All new pintle caps and o-rings were included, but the bleeds have to be purchased separately. I was very pleased with the results, all injectors were within 1%.

do i have to take the air bleeds out?

or can i just leave them in?

also I already too out the secondaries and put them back in.
this was a little while agao and I only have one question

WHAT SPACER ???????????

this must be the reason my secondaries are leaking like mad

I put $3 in gas and it leaked out in less then 3 minutes all over the ground from the secondaries

Just got my injectors back from RC today and am pretty astonished by the quality of the job they did. All new o-rings/seals, pintle caps, the injectors have been completly cleaned and repainted, and look amazing physically. As for their cleaning, all flow perfect #'s and the GSL-SE injectors are hitting 710cc Definetly worth the money.

also what spacers go under the fuel injector rail?

I dont think I have any and thats probably why i am spilling fuel all over,

any one have a pic so I can try to get some washers or something?

Dave,
The local place, not as local as Aaron thought, is called Cruizin Performance in Big Rapids, www.cruzinperformance.com ph 231.796.5705

Their prices are excellent. Aaron, funnyguy_11 sent his injectors for his V-10 and said they came back looking brand new with painted housings, new pintle caps, bushings, etc.

mine are going out to them tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes.

you dont have to take the air bleeds out w/ the injectors. When replacing the 720's all i did was pop the 550's out and put in the 720's with new o rings.

when you put it back together before putting the manifold on, look for the test connector that comes off near the pressure sensor, i believe its 2 pin? or 1 pin? If its 1 pin, just ground it, if its 2 pin, put a paperclip to complete the circuit.

This will turn the fuel pump on and pressurize the system. Look for leaks before you put the manifold back on.

***WARNING**** make sure the fuel rail is bolted down first....i had mine spray fuel in my eye cuz i was an idiot and forgot to bolt it down first.
