Question Fuel Frig. on T.stat.

just reading the thread on the thermastat when I remembered a thread
long ago about a way of getting extra fuel from a mod on tep. sensor
was it any good can any one here throw some light on this one?

What you're doing is adjusting the coolant thermo sensor so that the ECU thinks the coolant/engine is a bit cooler than it is - cooler coolant/engines temps wouldd trigger a richer mixture.

The problem is that the hack just included a pot that's in series with the stock OEM coolant thermo sensor.&nbsp This means you'll need to mess with the **** constantly to adjust mixtures - WOT versus idle.&nbsp This can easily be fixed by using a pressure switch that would change the mixture only when above x amount of boost.
