Fuel filter - Mazda or generic?

Pretty much what the title says, should I get the mazda filter or is it ok to get a Fram or something?

I have a generic factory-fit unit in the car right now (about 7 years old), and just bought an original Mazda part to replace it. They seem pretty much the same, but since I don't believe there was much difference in price, might as well stick with OEM.
