where in f@#k sake is that fuel filter?

 

Drivers side under firewall. Just trace the fuel line and you will see it. Mine is big, round and splices the the fuel line to the tank.

 

It is just under the Driver's side floor.On the Subframe rail.
If you look at the Driver's side Engine,just under the Oil filter area you can just See it.Follow the Rubber hose down towards the Frame rail,and is attached there by 2 10mm nuts.
Jack the car up on the Driver's Side and slip your body under,just at the Front of the Diver's side door.You should be able to see it plain as day there.

 

And use a jack stand so you don't get crushed if the jack fails. A friend of mine died that way by trusting just the jack.
