Fuel Cutoff Switch Question

Hello All,
I guess it is my understanding that the rotary engine has a problem with build up of unburned gas or flooding causing sticking and carbon build up on the apex seals. I understand that a contributing factor would be the lack of "spirited" driving habits, but I thought I read somewhere that a possible solution would be to install a fuel cutoff switch so instead of turning the running car off with the ignition you would cut the fuel off and let it die.
I don't know where I read this and therefore I don't know if this advice was valid, but I thought I'd ask if anyone has heard of this. And, is there another solution? Or do you just need to make sure you always warm up the car fully and redline it regularly?
Thanks in advance for any advice, Jeff

The main purpose of the fuel cut-off switch is to lessen the chance of flooding the engine at startup, especially if you dont let it warm up all the way which is when they are the most prone to flooding. They are beneficial, especially if your engien is up in the mileage department or its cold outside.
Spirited driving habits should still be excercised spontaneously and with caution.
