Fuel cut switch, which wire?

Im in the middle of doing this and I have 2 black wires with white strips, a thick one and a thin one...which one do i cut.88 T2

Felix wankel i think your wrong....I used the thick one and when i hit the switch the car doesnt stall....im gonna see if its the middle one right now.
