Fuel Cut Switch + Turbo Timer
I have an '87 Mazda Rx-7 Turbo II. When I bought the car it had a fuel cut switch on it already. I have a Greddy Type-0 turbo timer in the mail. My question is if I have to flip the switch before i cut the engine off for the switch to be useful, and the turbo timer is supposed to keep it running after i take the key out of the ignition, will it mess anything up? Does anyone else have a fuel-cut switch and turbo timer? Thanks for your help.- Craig

I have both. I very seldom use my switch anymore, but when my car does flood, here's my procedure:
After it won't start, I turn the key off and turn off my timer.
Flip my switch off and turn key to start. After a few seconds of cranking, I flip the switch on and it fires.

Fuel pump switches and TT's work just fine together. Don't use the switch to shut the car off - use it when it floods on startup.
Get in the car, try to start, no go. Flip switch, start car, flip switch back. Easy as pie. You don't have to mess with the turbo timer or anything either.
