Fuel cut switch/rewired pump

ok so i have a leaky injector that likes to flood on hot starts. Until I can get a chance to send them out, i have wired in a fuel cut switch. Since it is just temporary, I just tapped into the new external ground that i made when i rewired and moved the resistor. This has worked well for a few days now. All of the sudden, i go to start the car after running into costco, and its flooded. No problem, just hit the cut switch. Guess what, the pump is running with the switch off. I go back and check, no shorts. Even when i take the ground off the relay to the resitor, the pump still runs. Ideas?

EDIT: I have also been having tach problems. I tested the coil, and also tried swapping with a new one to no avail. I tested per the FSM, the two prong connector, and i read 12v like i am supposed to, but the tach keeps randomly quiting on me.

Check your wiring again and make sure you did not melt something and might caused a short on the switch. If the ground an the hot are touching it will stay on regardless of where the switch is at. Are they insulated from each other so that they don't happen to touch while you are driving?

yea, i have checked. I have to go back and check again. Something has to be touching somewhere. It just pisses me off, the car has been alomost perfect. I also have been randomly hearing the resistor click while driving, i am thinking its toast. Yes, nothing touches at all, I took my time with the rewire, and i just can't see anything touching.
