Cool Fuel Cut Out Switch on N/A...Beneficial?

I have an 86' RX7. It came with a Turbo 2 Drivetrain (N/A Engine) and a Knight Sports Fuel Cut Out Switch. I thought that was only for Turbo Motors. Here's the question: Is it useless to have in there? or what?

yes, so you can prevent flooding, if i had a dollar for everytime i had to pull my sparkplugs, and the fuse, and unflood my engine...well i'd have a few dollars.

Actually, one of the previous owners had a JDM Turbo 2 "Parts Car," he took the drivetrain from it and swapped it onto his Rx7 N/A. I guess he threw in the FCD in just in case he wanted to swap back a Turbo motor...but then he sold the car...and three owners later...I bought it for $700.00. So, this Rex has alot of history behind it. (It was kinda a piece of sh!#, but I'm almost done "restoring" it.)
