Fuel Cut on N/A???

hey guys well ive been driving the track car for a while now its not registered but ive been driving it around to see how it handles and such.... well i noticed today then if im driving it or lets say cruising out of no where it feels like i hit fuel cut and the lights will dim out if i let go of the gas it comes back to life and keeps driving normal then it will happen again later??? neone ever heard of this??? i took a **** the first time but i have no idea wtf it is????

and one last question theres a vibration sound where the tranny is and a metal grinding sound havent had the chance to get under it yet but was wondering if you guys think it could be the driveshaft??? at around 50mph theres a HUGE vibration in the car so bad that i cant even hold the steering wheel straight....

Thanks

That's not fuel cut, it sounds more like a voltage problem. EFI hates low voltage...

Maybe a loose connection at the battery or alternator?

you were right NZ the battery terminals were super loose (could take them off with my hands) so i fixed that but other issue now is the grinding which sounds like the drive shaft??

You need to take the car somewhere where it can be put on a hoist and properly inspected.

if its speed related its most likely the drive shaft. its not hard to get off, but you dont realy have any means of checking it other that rolling it on the floor to see warpage like you would with a pushrod. just for the hell of it, check your lugnutz

dont race a broken car. it will just cost 3x more money than fixing it properly in the first place.
