fuel cut and maxing out stock boot guage.

ok so i have a 87 t2 with these mods.

-3 inch turbo back
-all emisions removed
-tb mod
-bov
-hks pfc f-con (old sckool)
-hks fcd
-greddy 720 secondary injectors.

so driving down the road i can give it some throtle and when it spools i peg the stock guage and it cuts out at about 4-4500 rpm. whats the conversion from hg to psi or bar.
i have 2 questions.
-1 i dont have instrucitons on the fcd never used on b4 and i searchedhalf assed but never found any real awnsers. should i go more twards the cut side? its maxed out on normal right now. < dont really know what normal means. stock mabey?
-2 my turbo oil seal is bad and its burning oil but ... i get some burining oil under the hood too. no leaks found.

If the FCD is adjustable, then you need to watch your boost gauge on your CLUSTER. If the FCD isnt clamping, the boost gauge will shoot off the mark, and you will hit fuel cut.

FC boost gauges are calibrated in tens of millimetres of mercury (that's what the x10 mmHg means). Atmospheric pressure is 760mmHg or 14.7psi, so 1psi is just under 52mmHg. The scale on the Series 4 boost gauge goes up to "40" meaning 400 mmHg (7.7 psi).

I have no idea what your asking with your two questions...

Thats why you are getting fuel cut. YOur clamping voltage is too high..

Actually my fcd right now currently is set to its lowest setting at the "normal" setting. so turning it to "Cut" increases clamping voltage?
