What is the best fuel octane to use in a 87 n/a?

any, the compression is so low i don't think it matters. just make sure your oil injectors are working. s4 n/a has something like 9.5:1

N/A work better on lower octane gas, if you premix your oil it lowers the octane even more, gets a bit more kick out of the car IMO. If you got a turbo 91+ is a must.

9.4:1 compression ratio in a S4 .

To the OP:

Just use 87 as Mazda intended.
