looking at the fsm, at the removal of convertible to sec 14 tells you to remove the hook fasteners bolts and nuts then remove the hood outer from the body, my ? is do the bolts have nuts on the back in the car under the headliner or do they thread into the body and do not have nuts ? thank you for your time

 

they thread in

 

Remove all the plastic fasteners along the bottom of the top from the inside

then

Remove all the 10MM attachment bolts along the outer lip of the top.

Then

you have easy access to the two 10MM bolts that hold each of the spring bracket's.

Don't forget to unplug the window defrost wires before you attempt removal.
