Front wheel wobble

replaced front wheel bearing like a year ago and went to go take my wheel off and noticed some play so i took off the dust cover and then checked the nut and seemed like it loosened and the king nut thing whatever it is called was on and so was the cotter pin and am thinking that the so i tightened it the other day to remove the play but not so tight that the rotor wouldn't spin put backed together and checked yesterday and it was loose again so i did the same thing but driving i can tell it is loose yet again. Anybody got any ideas i need to figure this out and i have searched and found nothing that really helps.

I would take the hub off the spindle and check the bearings and the races, since driving on loose wheel bearings can destroy them. If everything looks alright, torque the nut, spin the wheel, rinse and repeat a couple times.

Did you replace the bearing races too? if so may be they are not seated or if you did not then the new bearing do not like the old races.

I think im going to do my ball joints and tie rods so i know everything will good up front.

The front wheel bearings on these cars suck. I replaced mine with brand new hubs (major $$$) a few years ago, and the front right on my car is getting a little wobbly again, and it's not even the one that gets the majority of the stress when I take it to the track.

something like this happen to me man but driving 90 on the free way, car started shaking like crazy, pulled over and towed my car home. Next day took of my hub and found the bearings melted away in to the housing of the hub (all the friction driving at 90). Found out that my spindle was bent!!!! and not even that much to even really notice it until i bought a whole new spindle and compared the two... My suggestion is to replace the whole spindle and hub... make sure you properly install the bearing on correctly and aligned.
