Front Speakers not working

Front Speakers not working
When I started up the car the other day, I noticed that the front speakers werent working. The day before they worked fine, then all of a sudden both wont work. I dont listen to music really loud so I doubt I blew them out. I took out my head unit ( Pioneer Supertuner III), and everything seemed to be connected well. Is there a relay or fuse for just the front speakers somewhere?? Or any other suggestions? Thanks

you'd get a lot more help with this question if you put it in the audio form. i posted something in there a while ago and got a response in seconds. And fixed teh problem right away.
I'm not sure at all about this but it very easily could be a fuse.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
There is an amp for the front speakers on the 86 GXL, but the power for it is tied into the deck power and dome lights and several other things.
So the chances are slim that it is a blown fuse.
The most likely is that the fader on the radio is set wrong, and I would check that first.
If that is not it then we need more info, like is the deck stock? wiring stock? amps stock? or what aftermarket stuff you have in the car for stereo

Well, the fader is set fine, when i do put it all to the front there is no sound at all. As for everything else IM not sure, I bought the car with the CD player already installed and havent messed with anything since. Im really not too big into sound systems, nor do I know a whole lot about wiring them. I just know it sounds like crap with only the rear speakers working. Everything has worked fine for over 2 years since I've owned the car, until a few days ago when the front speakers quit. I may just end up taking it to a stereo shop and let them mess with it, because car audio isnt really my strong point.

First thing I would do is disconnect ALL your speaker wires, and wire the front speakers to the rear speaker outputs. That is the quickest way to determine if it's your head unit or not.
