Front Speakers Installation Question

hey i need an answer quickly if possible i'm in the middle of installing my stereo
i've already read the faq
front left speaker is supposed to be green/red and green black, mine is green/red and green yellow, it the deck connection they are correct colors and at the right speaker amp it was correct ( now removed) also the left speaker i just put in isn't putting out any sound., is there something i need to do with the wiring from the old dash amp? i notice it has both front speaker wire sets connected that harness. whats the correct way of doing this

Well what I would do is if you have an aftermarket deck then I would say is replace the wires going to the speakers with a lower gauge of wire (thicker wire). This is for the better sound quality.

well ya i've installed many stereos, it was just odd that it seemed to go from the amp to the front speakers with no wires as an input to the amp, i had some extra 12g twisted laying around and just redid them instead, now on too the next project of running 0g from the battery to the back and installing my 2800watt max amp (2x 300 rms 1400peak) matchs my infinity perfect 12"s
