can you expect any better cooling or air flow by removing the front lenses?

only if you modify behind there. First off the headlights are right behind them blocking the air but if the headlight were up or remove and you cut anything else behind the lense then it would lead right to the intake on the passanger side. I thought about doingthis if i make some sleek non popup headlights, and then making a heat sheild around the intake. Overall no you can't expect better cooling unless you do alot more work than just removine the lenses
