front left turn signal is working but not working

Ok, so when I turn the running lights the front left turn signal does not turn on. But if I flip the left turn switch the light will flash. So I know its hooked up and working... its just not working with the running lights, how do I fix this?

I believe it's an 1157 dual-element bulb?
It sounds like one element is dead.
Try and replace the bulb to see if this fixes the problem?
That's a relatively cheap solution...

The front bulbs is a 1157 (as ted said)

Think of the bulb as really two different bulbs, all in the same housing.
