Front head lights don't turn on; turn signals don't work...

Hi everyone!!!! This question might be answered in this forum but I want a more direct answer. Well I bought a 1989 gxsl rx7 yesterday. You guys are very smart and therefore Im begging for your assistance. The problem is that my headlights aren't working. The light fixtures come up fine, its just the lights don't even turn on... No lows or highs(beams). My second problem is my turning signals don't activate when I use them. Whats funny is that when I switch the hazards on, they work fine. Please guys, can you give some steps on how to solve these problems. I greatly appericiate it!!!!!

I got the front lights to work... It was some sort of relay that was missing from the front bumper. I was surpised to find it missing. I dont know as much about the 7s, I checked under the steering column where the the lever connects to a wire harness to the computer. Well there was a purple wire cut and a black one cut as well. I attached them together and then the right flasher started working. The only problem is that Im unable to control the signal at all, meaning it is constantly flashing on the right side. When I flip the lever to the left it does nothing.... Also I dont know the location of the fuse box.... I know there is one in the front area of the engine bay. Please tell me the location of the other.

Thanks alot!!! Hey I got the front head lights to work, it turns out to be a relay located in the front bumper. It was missing when I bought the car. I got a new relay and the lights are working properly. But under the steering column, the lever that controls the turning signals, had a purple wire and a black wire cut. I went ahead and attached them together and the turning signals started to work again... Well execpt the fact that it is constantly flashing on the right, and unfornuately unable to control it with the lever. I switched to the left and nothing, it keeps flashing to the right.... Do you think it could be the fuses?

I used the diagram above for the location of the fuses. It kind of sucks that Mazda decided to put the fuse box next to the dead pedal. Sorry I asked for the location for it. Well I checked the fuses accordingly to the diagram, they dont seem to match up. I have a 89 gsxl 7, do you think that might make a difference. I also checked the fuses and they were fine. I might made a layout for the 1989 7.... Do you guys think that might be true?
