front fender design idea...want feedback

ive been thinking about it for the longest time and just want to see what others would think about the idea. the plan is to make a near copy of the front fender, only changing some of it so it fits with the rest of the design, so this can act as the inside part of the 2 piece fender. then the second part of the fender will stick out 50mm (2 inches) or something near that as the outside layer. it will kind of be like a jgtc cars style fender. it will stop on the bottom part of the molding, focusing on the back of the fender, and have vents pointing out. the sideskirts will also be like a jgtc design, flat. for the front bumper then, if the fenders go ok, i kind of want to keep the stock bumper look. the bumper will just kind of be wider, and have an angled front lip bolted to that. hopefully u get the idea. i made a pitiful photoshop of my thoughts, cant tell a WHOLE lot of a difference, on someone in heres rx7. sorry i didnt ask to use it first, i just saved it and forgot whos it was. i didnt put a front lip on...cause thats not really what im worried about now, along with the rear portion of the car. yea....so before and after

haha....thats what i want to hear damnit! like i want to do it so bad because no one makes absolutely anything like it for our cars, it would be sweet looking, be an actual challenge for me, and to use it as business.....so i can have money for my car . i just want more feedback guys so i can really decide to drop the fair amount of money down to start making the stuff or not. [and just as a side note...i could always make different wide bumpers to fit along with the fenders if i make them]

it'd be nice if it was like the red car, and was cut out to work as an exit duct for hot engine bay air. Either way, it's something that's always on my mind when I think about widebody. Go for it!

one thing im not sure about though is with out outside fenders wheel well cut out part (whatever u wanna call it). i dont know if it should be made slightly bigger than the stock size so wider wheels dont touch the edges. anyways....can i please have some thoughts and all input on this.

I've had all these same thoughts, even went as far as getting the designs down on paper. I just don't think the FC should be a widebody. I have yet to see one that has come out well. And the rediculously, barely noticeable "wide body" fenders make it worse. Talking an actual widebody somewhat reminiscent of the JGTC widebodies is quite the task, and if you'd like, I could probably make a picture to illustrate what the final outcome would resemble. Just remember to do the rear too. Otherwise, that'd just be silly lookin.

i honestly never planned on putting everything on my car if i do make them, not because i think itll be dumb, but just the fact that i want my car looking stock. i as well have my own drawings, but dont have a scanner to get them on here. and i dont want to put the load on u to draw it up....itll be hard to get every exact detail i think of.
