Front Diff mount, Solid or stock rubber?

MY stock diff mount broke, and I'm looking to replace it, I found a solid one at www.scalliwag.com, and it's only $65. The stock one is like $150.

I'm just wondering what the solid mount will do, and how it will affect the car. I drive it hard, but the stcok mount lasted about 200,000 miles.

I want to get the solid one if I will see some kind of increase.

Also, does anyone have one, and how long does shipping take?

Before you buy from scalliwag, do a search. It may change your mind.

I have the competition Mazda mount, I got it from Mazdaformance for 85 bucks.... Sadly, Mazdaformance is no longer with us. Mazdatrix has the comp mount for 130 bucks.

The solid mount means that next time something breaks it will be the bracket on the subframe. That's what happened to me, even with the mazda competition mount.

I ordered the solid motor and trans mounts from scalliwag and had no problems (took 1 week to get here, though, if that's a problem). I plan on ordering the solid diff mount from him and getting the UMHW mounts from www.mmr-direct.com for the diff and subframe. Just remember, with a system like this, you can't just upgrade one mount or else the rest of the mounts have to do alot more work, which relates to more heat, which relates to more wear, which relates to breakage of mounts. Just some food for thought...

I've got the scalliwag solid diff mount. It's been in for about 6 months, no complaints.
