Front balance weight
Just curious , when cleaning parts I notice a 86 stamped on the weight . The engine came out of a 86 rx7 is this the year of the engine or just a coincidence?: Gerald m.

hmm.. never found any relevance with those numbers stamped into the front weights with anything.. only one exception.. 74-81 13b has a 1757 stamped mass that is a direct relation to a part code
the corresponding rear auto mass carries the 1029A code.. also an rx4 part number code

Just thought maybe there was something different about this part . The housings have a few different numbers and letters stamped on them, front and rear housings are marked with a F and R one is stamped RE 92 which I presume means it was rebuilt in 92 so I will re stamp 2013 when I am finished .
