Freon discharge

So...how did you discharged your a/c system in your 7 for a rebuild. Speically when it can't move.

The last time I pulled an engine I left it charged, unbolted the compressor & wired it out of the way.

There is no need to discharge the ac. Although if you want to discharge it you can probaly rent a recovery mechene from a locak rental place or auto parts store.

if you discharge it you can't fill it back up... you'd have to convert to new style which is $$
