So pretty much to keep my motor running i got to find a dealer that does s4 housings still? I dont see why s5 housings wouldnt work as long as i use both front and rear..?

the spark plug location is a little different between s4 and s5 is one reason already mentioned. I know for a fact the rotors between s4 and s5 have different compression (s4 is lower) but I don't think that would affect the housings would it? a lot of people with s4 blocks replace the rear iron with an s5 though, because on high boost/hp the s4 can crack around one of the dowel pins I believe.

search for threads comparing parts, there are plenty on here. I know aaroncake knows a lot about interchanging parts. japan2la is a vendor on here, you can pm him as he has answered some of my questions before too and knows a lot.

I personally wish I did FD housings on my white car, but my s5's were like perfect so they went in. I just sold my last pair of s5 housings, I would have given them to you pretty cheap too.

Find GOOD used housings and just ensure you use the same front and rear and you're good to go.

Also, higher compression rotors are where it's at, see if you need them first though, check how the new seals fit and decide
k. SO i did some searching (not here) and found S5 rotors and Housings. From what i understand about rotary's so far is that S4 and S5 apex seals are different but besides that, can i use everything else on my S4 motor, that is, if they pass inspection, and bolt them right onto the S5 housings? or do i have to compensate somehwere for the higher compression?

Throw high compression rotors in (n/a or s5) and just make sure the counterweights are correct. I will look tonight and see if I still have an s5 front counterweight that I'll give you you just pay shipping (if I have it that is) and I also have an s5 flywheel if you need it.
damn...Slide i really appreciate all the help. yea, if you really would ship, ill deff pay. Im gonna do some more research after i finish cleaning up the car today. Im currently figuring out how to get caked on dust out of my heater vents...it stinks.
