frame to diff moun bracket broken. options?
well I just got my "broken" differential mount out, and found the mount to be intact, but the mount came out with the top end of the 90 degree bracket that holds the mount to the subframe.
wat are my options now? It broke accross the holes, so I could tighten it down and pinch what is left of the holes, but I imagine it would just slip out.
what do you guys think
edit: the bracket is like a W. both sides are fine, its just the part that comes up in the middle thats broken

It works.
You need a pinion snubber. Search for it. You should be able to get it at any auto parts store like this one I used:
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
You should still mount the diff mount but use the snubber to push it down in place since without the bracket to hold the diff mount, it'll slap up and down everytime you get on and off throttle. It's easy to install. Remove the rear bins, pull out the carpeting and drill the appropriate size for the shaft for the snubber. I installed 2. One for above the diff mount and another right at the edge of the rear end. This keeps it solid and try to "twist" when getting on and off throttle.
You need to drop the rear subframe by unbolting the 2 ends and the end link. This will drop enough for you to install the snubber. I'd drop it as much as you can and iinstall the snubber so there isn't much gap between the mount and snubber. When you install the rear frame, it will compress it together. Use a floor jack to bring up and down.
Hope this helps.
