FPR turned wrong way

This might be an obvious fix and Im just not seeing it. Its been a long day for me so bare with me. Ok, why wont my FPR nipples (both fuel and air supply) point the correct way, which would be down. Mine point sort of up and towards the engine. yes its tightened all the way down and yes I have the crush washer in it. Its really blowing my mind cause I just took the damn thing off a few days ago and it was on their the correct way. Am I overlooking something stupid? Sorry if this is a retarded question

PS, its an 87' T2

Bump. No one has any suggestions? Im scared to stack another crush washer over the one on it. That would probably make it angle right but it shouldnt be like this in the first place. Whats wrong with the damn thing

... I hope its not that easy haha. Mine might just be corroded and looks like the washer is built to the unit, didnt try to even see if it was movable. But if I go out there and find out its like you say Im gonna look like a big douche. Oh well, thanks either way.

Damnit. thats all it was. Somehow my nut had become jammed onto the fitting and I assumed it was built in. After about a half hour of banging and penatrating lube, I broke it free enough to turn. Good looking out! I might still be scratching my head otherwise
