Question found something new on the FC

ok Here it is, so me and my fc is getting acquiated and i stumble upon a coolant resovior...... now i never knew i had this..........
I look in the FSM, ....... I do not see it on the cooling diagrams, but its located by the abs pump next to the carbon canister.

There is a line that goes to the manifold..somewhere as I was not paying attention when I disconnected it.

Can the enlightened shed some light on what this is and for what?

NOTE: its not the coolant over flow bottle, thats by the rad

Sub zero starting assist system. You live in one of the few places that that might have value.

It's an anti icing tank. For those people that live where's it's cold out. Made to defrost the frozen intake system. Some of the earlier Mazda's had a button on the dash with an "S" on it.

Sub zero start assist resevoir, injects that antifreeze mixture into combustion chambers to increase compression. i think there was a tsb to remove it.

^^ There is a tsb to remove it as it is useless. Even in cold weathers.

Mazda has determined that it's a useless feature, even in cold weather. It's just unneccessary weight at this point.
