found a small puttle of oil in turbo inlet??
i found a small puttle of oil in my turbo inlet when i took my tid off. it boosts good has normal play in it. but the car does smoke more than it is saposed too. should i get a new turbo or no?
BTW, it's "puddle"
You will always have some oil in the intake tract - the crankcase vent plumbs into the turbo inlet duct, and a small amount of oil from the crankcase gets sucked into the intake tract to be burned by the engine. This is for emissions reasons - all emissions should go out the tailpipe, so car makers try and burn everything to avoid evaporative emissions.
When does the car smoke?
Also, have you checked your air filter? A clogged air filter will cause a great deal of vacuum ahead of the turbo, which can actually suck oil out of the turbo into the inlet tract.

Maybe your crank case pressure is too high (check breather) and the engine is pumping oil via the PCV into the TID.
I would clean it all up and then monitor how quickly it comes back. I would also try removing the PCV from the TID and poke it into an old oil bottle with some holes drilled into to it to see what's coming out of it.
If the turbo's go a problem you should see a lot of oil on the outlet side of the compressor. When you pull your intercooler do you see a lot of oil? Again, clean it all and then monitor how quickly it re-appears.

no when i took the intercooler off i seen no oil. i wiped it up and very very little was on my finger. how do i check if my crank case pressure is too high? and whats is a pcv again? and where can i find it
The PCV valve plugs into the TID on the firewall side near where the factory 'blow-off' valve sits. I think it's usually silver in color. It's got a black rubber hose clamped to it. It will just pull out of the TID. Keep in mind you will need to plug the hole it was in when you remove it as it's a leak of metered air!
how can i tell if the pcv valve is bad? its is the one way check valve that you are talking about right? the one under the bov. now i noticed that i do have a little bit of oil all the way to the intercooler.
Here's a diagram of the evaporative emissions system. The 'check-valve' is the one we've been discussing.
You might check the purge control valve too, as if it's not opening perhaps this may be a source for high crank-case pressure.
