currently i have a 88(s4) vert and a 88SE, the SE is my race car, the vert is my daily driver, but i just found a s5(didnt ask what year) but its been sitting for about a year, so it doesnt run, may just be locked up, may have been parked blown, but all the tires are flat, rims look ok, there is a medium size dent in the passenger side rear fender, not to bad but may have damaged teh gas neck, the seats and center console are gone, and the back part of the top is completely torn, and the triangle glass on the drivers door is broken, aside from that its ok, i belive the clock said about 105000, its at a little dealership hidden in the back, the guy wants 1200, but im thinking more like 500-750, what do you say?

PS it would be a roadster(no top), warm weather/race car

Since the car is slightly ragged out and the engine is potentially blown, I'd offer $500 and put a cap at $800.

 

I will never give more than $800 for something I cant drive home. Usualy that figure sits at $500, so Id go with 5-600. IF you wanna part it out, jump on it. IF you wanna fix it, let that one slide, to someone who will part it ot. Quarterpanel work is expensive, tops are expensive, engines are expensive, and for one car to need all 3, youre looking at well over 3G to get it going again. Then, for your time and investment, you *might* get 4G out of it. IN comparison, if you part it out, youre likely to make $2500 no questions asked, its just a matter of you taking time and space to deal with it.
