Found out my fuel gauge is wrong today :)

drove about 5 miles on what was supposed to be an 1/8th tank of gas. needle never moved but I ran out of gas maybe 100ft from a gas station sorry I just got bored at looking at the problematic threads had to give you guys a good laugh (but this really did happen today)

Best solution is drive til it's bone dry,and stops..Then FILL it up with 10 bucks,and mark the gauge(or mentally note it).
That way you know that you always have 10 in there...BUT treat it like empty..so you always have gas..
I never let my car go below 1/4..(the way I drive I don't want sloshing gas to worry me!)
