Was putting new rear pads on today and figured I would use needle nose to turn the piston in. No luck. Three different pliers and simply would not turn. Well I returned rotors I did not need and asked if they had an equivalent piston tool. Yup, its a cube with 5 design patterns. One worked on mine. Not a perfect fit but it did work. $9.95 at NAPA # 775-9037 "Disk Brake Piston Tool."

Have not seen this identified on this forum, at least related threads I have read.

 

yep, i know pep boys carries those as well. the cube fits a 3/8" drive wratchet and i think it actually had 6 patters for rear brakes pistons (cubes have 6 sides )
