Thanks, I heard that I needed to swap the TB because the TPS is different.

So the S4 injectors swapped to the S5 fuel rail and the S4 throttle body swapped to the S5 and keep all the JDM S5 parts possible.

I would just get your engine rebuilt, there is no guarantee that a JDM engine will be in perfect condition, and there is absolutely nothing better with them.. Even if it's an S5 Engine, it is still 13-17 yrs old..

I hope the one I already got is ok, its got 120 psi on all the seals and has 27k miles on it. But then it was 1/2 the cost of a rebuild and thats before I sell my extra parts. Im taking all bets that it out last the Hayes rebuild that cost 2x as much in my 89T2

The choice is to get a complete rebuild with new every thing for $3500 or use used housings (alot more used than a JDM) for $2500 or get a low milage JDM for $1250. Sure the complete rebuild is better and thats what I plan on doing with my 89 as soon as my Hayes rebuild dies. This looks like a viable bang for the buck alternative and japan2la has a good rep on the forums. Time will tell.
