Thanks DAN CARWIN. I'm glad somebody else thinks the way I do too. I'll make sure to check in the parts for sale section. Hopefully I can find some.

Now something as functional as fog lights is rice?! Jeez, you guys need to get over yourselves and the whole rice thing. It's reaching paranoia levels.

It's not a paranoia thing. It's just that most of the ones that you can buy from places like Autozone or NAPA Autoparts or some place like that are the blue ones, and I hate the way those look. Plus, my opinion of "RICE" is my opinion, I'm not forcing it upon you. Go make your own and let me have my own.

I already explained earlier why I want the OEM ones. They're made to be there.

My comments were mainly aimed at Mr. Carwin's ridiculous claim that aftermarket fog lights are rice, and can't be made to look good. There are plenty of quality aftermarket fog lights to choose from. Ones that were actually designed to work properly and look just for the look. Poor installation doesn't make them rice either.

I totally agree with you; I have them and I prefer them too. If I were in your position I'd do the same thing. That still doesn't make aftermarket fog lights rice. What're S4 owners supposed to do? I certainly wouldn't be getting those fugly optional S4 ones...

Okay, sorry for the confusion. But for the price that I could do the OEM ones for, I'm thinking that all I would be able to get that are aftermarket are the ones that look like "RICE." That's just my .02 though.

One of these days, I need to fix mine. For as long as I've had my car, the passenger side fog light has never worked, and I've never bothered to do anything about it.

Now Now NZ convertiable you don't need to get all butt hurt because I proved your *** wrong that all s5 do not come with fog lights like you said. and my ridiculous claim is my Damn oppion. Trust me I do not do Ghetto installation either. After market fog lights IMOP do not look sleek or how your car looked when ot rolled off the show room floor. I had CATZ on my old GXL they looked ok. especially on the s4 models where there is really no place to mount them it looks RICE. So our paranoid level is just because we have class.

You need to read more carefully. In "correcting" me, you said "the ONLY 2nd gen rx7s that came stock woth (sic) OEM fog lights were the S5 89-91 2nd gens. NO s4 86-88 came with oem fog lights", which is exactly what I said, and that was all I pointed out to you.

My problem is with your definition of rice. It seems that anything non-factory you don't like is rice. If you don't like it then say so, just quit it with the constant rice crap.

There's no reason why a set of quality aftermarket fog lights can be installed in a manner that looks like they were meant to be there.
So our paranoid level is just because we have class.
