fog light removal
ive been thinkin that the fog lights are practically useless, halogen ugly colored lights on the stock S5 fc. I havent gone down there yet to check it out, but before anything goes on, are there any tricks to removing them that are outta the ordinary.
PLUS......about plastic guards beneith the stock snorkel (i use the snorkel to help direct air to filter). is there any negative reaction of removing them? it seems as though if the one below the snorkle intake is removed, that air may now pass into the opening up front, to where it hits the radiator, and at the same time, be redirected up into the snorkel area, getting fresh air into the intake. Also, the plastic hanging down off the hood, is it needed to keep water out, it looks like it has that purpose, but if it is taken off, is there a risk of any water getting into parts of the engine bay where it is definately not wanted?
Thanks.
Jeff
