Anyone know a way to rewire the foglights so the regular lights dont have to be on to use them?

 

you can just go to Autozone and go down the aisle where they have the fog lights. You should find a wiring set that can be used with Rally aftermarket fog lights. It is the same thing that is used in the fog light sets they sell, and it is complete--from the lights to the switch. Then install it per instructions. You can even wire it to the factory switch if you prefer. Shouldnt be too expensive.

 

Using a VOM at the fog light switch, check which wire is the + feed from the headlights. Cut it & connect that switch wire to the cigar lighter feed. That way when you shut off the car, the fogs are not accidently left on.
