any size you want because reguardless you will have to cut the bottom of the FC2000 fiberglass to fit.

What is your core size and what do you personally think would be the largest core size I could fit? I have read some other threads where you have stated that you are not satisfied with the bumper and the whole shipping experience. Have you fixed all the fitment problems?

I will fit any size you want you have to cut the bumper for almost any intercooler in front of the frame.

Look at my FMIC in my avatar I have a FC 200 cowl as well.

Don't get a core that big until you have the Stage 4 :O

You'll sooo kill the S5 trying to flow enough to pressurize that thing.

If your going to buy a core buy the one you want to use when you get the stage 4. Buying a smaller core for the mean time would be a waste. Just dont put it on until you put the stage 4 on. Do everything at once. Actually I doubt you would hurt the turbo with a fmic it would just lag a bit and probably lose a PSI or 2.

What is the opening size in the bumper? I don't want to get one that would be too large for the opening.

I have that bumper man. You will have to cut the crap out of it anyhow so it dont matter. The whole is actualy small on that bumper.

It is 22.5in by 6in and is to long to even fit a FMIC without cuting. Also requires alot of work fitting.

So then an intercooler core size that is 24 x 12 would be too tall to be effective right? I was looking at this one on eBay but there is another one I saw at a scrapyard that is 24 x 8, I would probably be better off with this one right?

Iceblue, what requires a lot of fitting, the FC2000 bumper or the FMIC?

Both require large amounts of fabrication. The bumper is very hard to get lined up to the fenders uper portion and the hood. Just how it is. Then after brackets are built and fited you have to remove it and cut it to fit the FMIC. The hole stays 6in on the bumper so a larger core requires actual reforming of the bumper to exspose. The ends of the bumper also wrap around the fenders.

Look up the dimensions of the Greddy FMIC I have it and it's big and I got it to fit behind the FC 2000 cowl. All large FMIC cores will take modification to fit.
