flywheel socket

so a few months ago i bought an FC with a blown engine. i wanted to tear it down but i didnt want to buy the flywheel socket for 50 bucks and just said screw it after not finding any local. well the other day i was browsing thru the local TSC and came along a 2 1/8" socket and 2 feet away was a sign saying "new line of tools" for a WHOPPING $16.94 USD! hope it helps.

yea i did the same lol ebay actually. just make sure you pick up an impact gun or order the flywheel stop from mazdatrix otherwise you'll never get that bad boy loose. the torque specs on that flywheel nut are a couple hundred pounds i believe

I got a 3/4 flex drive and the 54 mm socket from Northern Tools for like $25 bucks (they were on sale)

The socket itself is like $11 day to day, and it has a lifetime replacement on it.
