flywheel?

Ok so I have a 11lb flywheel now with a s5 auto counter weight.my question is I'm looking at the fidanza 8lb one and was wonderin what weight to use? I was told to use the same one but will it still be balanced correctly? Thanks

Same one.

Counterweight is engine specific (in your case S5), not flywheel specific.

I don't think the 3 lb difference would warrant pulling the tranny but go for it if you gotta.


Personally, I have a SR Motorsports 9.5# flywheel and I think it borders on the limit of streetability. I don't think I'd like a lighter one.

Thanks for the opinion but my trannys shot so I'm replacing it with the cllitch and flywheel. Can someone actually answer my question or not?

chaosseven is right on the money.... you're just wasting your money and you wont get as much cash out of the old FW if you sell it. not worth it and as stated already...

yes, you use the same counter weight
