Flywheel??

My motor just went on my 1987 na, and i am thinking about getting an s5 motor, would that bolt up to my transmission, also the motor i saw does not have a flywheel, would it be ok just to purchase like a lighter flywheel, and what all is there to do in swapping the newer motor in. I dont need any pollution control, dont need p/s or a/c so it should be fairly easy right?? Thanx

Probably the reason that no one is answering is because this topic has been covered so many times. Run a search and you will find all the info you need. To give you an idea, yes, the engine will bolt up. To make it easier you will want to use your original (86-88) intake manifolds, and the front cover as well, because the 89-91 engines have an electric MOP that you cannot control with the 86-88 ECU. Basically you just use the S5 block and nothing else.
