Which flywheel?

Looking for thoughts and experiances on either the SR Motorsports 9.5lb. or Racing Beat 9.5lb. flywheels. This is for my '90 Turbo II in which I hope to put down some pretty serious hp. Please let me know what you guys think about either or both of these flywheels. Thanks!

Really, I haven't seen any differences in flywheels from different manufacturers - they're all good. I'd probably get the srx7.com one, since you can get it with an ACT clutch setup as a package price.

I recommend aluminum flywheels over steel - steel is a nice improvement over stock, but it's not a $400 improvement. The aluminum flywheels are VERY easy to drive, unless you're grandma . It takes about a day of getting used to, that's about it.

You can't use an FD flywheel - they're quite different.

If you're looking to make some power, go ahead and get a good clutch. I've got the ACT Xtreme pressure plate and full-face clutch disc, and LOVE it. It's never slipped or complained once.

If you notice, I beleive SR wants an extra 90 or so for the counterweight. The price they have is *just* the flywheel.

I have the RB and I would never go back. Except I have to because I screwed something up reinstalling the tranny

Thanks a lot for the input guys. But of course I'm still undecided. One thing I was wondering about, I heard the SR flywheel is rated at 9.5lbs. but thats the flywheel only and the counter weight will add x amount more. And the RB flywheel is 12lbs. with the counter weight included. Anybody heard any of that before?
