Fluidyne Radiator and FCD How-To's

I know that there was questions from people in here on how to install an aftermarket radiator in the past few weeks. I just got my Fluidyne AL Radiator from mazdaformance.com a few weeks back and finally have time to install it! I will have full pictures and write-up on my site later tomorrow.

I also just got permission from Paul Stokes to use his How-To on building your own FCD! It is on my site now under How-To's then under the electrical section. Please don't ask me questions on it though. His email address is listed at the bottom of the write-up if you have questions

Enjoy!

The write-up is done for those interested. I will be doing the brake job how-to over the weekend hopefully.

Are you ever going to get the Fiero Fan write-up done? I'm just now arranging to buy one, and pictures would be helpful. What can I say, I like to see the end results.

Hey Dave, when are you going to get off your *** and do your Haltech writeup? I'm only a couple of wires away from being done with mine. Hopefully, I'll be up and running by mid-week next week.

why do people like fiero fans?

they're not THAT nice

and, judging from the fact that all my lights dim and etc when it turns on, it's one HELL of a power drain

I didn't end up going with that fan since I couldn't get my hands on it as I initially thought I could. I used the black magic unit and have had great results.

I had the same problem locally. But then I thought a lil bit. Went to the parts for sale section on www.fieroforum.com. I already have 2 people wanting to sell me one. Both, $25 shipped. The internet, what a wonderful thing

Because I have been too busy selling engines and making money

Now that SS5 has a date set, we are actually really pushing hard to do the whole car by then.

*PS I have the intake temp and water temp sensors left then I'm done. Where are you dyno'ing yours? *

LOL nice thinking. I just decided that I needed maximum airflow and I know that the Black Magic is provne to work well so I went with it. Besides I got it for a pretty good deal

Yeah that is another really requested one. We installed a set of Powerslot front rotors and stock pads. Then we used some new OEM rear rotors with stock pads. Nice setup for a daily driver and the occasional canyon carving

The weak-assed electrical system of the 2nd Gen RX-7 is why I'm hesitant to sell my Optima Yellow-Top...
