flaming exhaust and header?

A for the other q, the straight pipe is needed to make flames. I don't think mufflers matter, but they might. Somebody that shoots flames will chime in and let you know.

when i put my RB header on, i drove around w/ just it on for an hour or so! it was great, and SUPER loud!!! youve gotta have a muffler or you will be pulled over for sure. but anyways, when i had it one w/ out anything else, i had a friend punch it and it shot mad flames out the headers!! i cant wait to see it now that i finished porting it and got the rest of the exaust in...

Ya I think you do need straight pipes & high flow mufflers. I also think you need to be running rich to see flames.
