Fixing the S4 TPS for SAFC

So if you read this thread
https://www.rx7club.com/lounge-192/v8kilr-back-baby-yeah-904892/

You will see I recently acquired an 88 GTU and it came with an Apexi SAFC. Dont know why since its an NA and obviously the previous owner was oblivious to the fact that the S4 TPS blows.

So I am going to come up with a solution that will still allow the stock computer to get what it needs but also allow the SAFC to get as near accurate readings as possible.

I am obviously going to need to add something into the system separate from the stock TPS or change the stock TPS with another and somehow mod it so the stock computer can still get the same readings while allowing the SAFC to get its readings.

I am open to any suggestions, I was thinking adding a potentiometer to the stock throttle body or changing the TPS with an S5 (if its capable or accurate enough readings) or a TPS from an entirely different car.

The goal is to make something that others can also do and use, something bolt on.

I thought this was figured out decades ago using the pressure/boost sensor in lieu of the stock TPS. There is a search function on this site at the top of the page. The stk TPS functions just fine for the purpose it was designed for.

I have searched and I'm not a newb, I know how to bandaid the issue but even then you don't get accurate 0-100% throttle reading which is what I propose to resolve. When you use the pressure sensor I believe you just get a simple on/off, if the throttle pressed or not, which is supposed to be more accurate than the stock tps but I want to know exactly or however close to exactly I can get.

The plan is to turn this idea to reality for myself then make sure others can adapt it easily and hopefully cheaply. It looks like you have been around here a while so you should know i'm the guy that does this kind of thing, I did the fuel injection conversion on 12a 1st gens, I did the auto to manual conversion kits for 2nd, I did the 12a custom ignition system using 2nd gen and other aftermarket parts, i made the kit to adapt a wnd gen power steering pump to a 12a, and I also made the kit to swap in a 2nd gen radiator into a 1st gen.
