Fixed many things, car is shifting early, and still chugging

Ok so basically we have two problems. One the car 'chuggs'/'bogs's when trying to give it fuel only at random occaitions. ITs doing this two ways. Either the motor is shaking due to the mounts (one problem). or the engine is not taking the fuel, and is borderline stalling (another problem)

Ive changed the fuel filter, oil , oil filter, removed the cats, and gotten both coils firing again, adjusted the idle by following the FSM.

Car is running much better. however still dosent put out enough power for my automatic transmision to shift over 5k rmps. it will not shift higher than that, even at full throttle.

Now my aux ports are not connected (they werent when i bought the car either) this is really the only thing i could think of, (also the only thing i know isnt working)

If i slap the tranny into first or second gear, the car GOES! it rips!!

but in drive gear, she shifts super early right as im starting to get to the power range in the rpms.

cheerz

neeever the less,

an automatic transmission should let you redline the car when floored. There is definatly a problem there.

I tightened the throttle cable to be a bit because it was tough to floor, physically.

the tranny still will shift way to early when floored.

anyone know how to diagnose and fix this?

cheers

There's not much love for the auto transmissions on this forum, and most people don't bother with them. You might want to start by checking the factory service manual though.

The auto shifts early. I beleive its 1-2 at 10mph, 2-3 at 25 i dont know after that havn't paid attention. If you push it you can hit about 4-4500 before it shifts to 3rd. Easiest way you can get a better shift is manually go from 1-2 then 2-D, but 2nd still has a shitload of power up into 5k lol (I was at about 60mph at 4500-5000).

Have you had your injectors tested/cleaned?

Im pretty sure my aux ports not working properly is robbing alot of power from my car. I have no choice but to drive like you said , first gear, then manually shifting into 2nd, then drive with over drive off. This must be terrible for my transmission, theres gotta be a way to race this car in D gear. However shouldnt this car be fast? I mean I can take civics and integras like this but, my buddy is convinced i should be able to go door to door with his oldmobile cutlass, and I cant touch that car at all. I have removed emissions, do you guys think i can find enough airflow from somewhere in my downpipe maybe to open the aux ports.

Also thinking about wiring them open/shut. any ideas as far as that goes?
