FITTING MY FD rims

i put this in the suspension/wheels section but decided to put it here too..i just bought FD rims for my 86, my friend told me i need extended studs for the front rims, thing is i dont know what extended studs i need, am i suppose to buy a specific lenght?width? and where do i get these extended studs?

I thought they were supposed to wheel spacers?

perhaps then your question is not worded correctly.

To install those rims, you will need spacers.

There are two types of spacers. One that has a set of lugs that you bolt to the new wheels, and the other, simply a spacer that requires longer wheel studs.

You need to deciede which approach you wish to take.

BTW: as a side note, wheel spacers of any type are banned in every racing org that I know of. There is a reason why... mostly because it is not safe.
