Yea but someone with computer skills could find out alot of information about you by your vin... Maybe come to your house... Jack your car and leave it in the woods stripped... **** happens ya know...

at best the car is worth $3k and probably (knowing most 86-87 Turbos) not worth more than $1500...

Don't think too many people are gonna go out and trace a car down by the VIN and go and steal a FC worth $1500

You're right.
A Mazda dealer that doesn't do enough checks will cut keys if you just tell them the VIN.

I have an easy way to counter that.
I run a lock set that's not original.

What's preventing someone from just cracking your glass and breaking into the car or just towing it away?

These things are not Ferrari's.
But I do respect owners privacies with the Registry - if you don't want any or part of your VIN posted, I will leave that part of the info out.
